Response from Mr. Amarjit Singh and my observations thereto

Dear Amarjit

Thank you for your quick response. A very happy Holi to you too.

I also wish to thank you for reassuring me that I shall get all official e-mails from the Society.

2.     Having said that I wish to bring to your notice that you have been misled on the issue.

The Society had forwarded e-mails to me in the past at my address khurana.mail@gmail.com . There are at least 10 e-mails addressed at that e-mail id. I have retrieved these e-mails from my system and made a zip file for your reference which is attached hereto. As you may notice therefrom, as early as 6th February, 2007 there is an e-mail where there is a reference to me as an ex-member.

3.    In addition, there are at least 10 e-mails that were sent from your e-mail id inviting me to yaari.com. Similarly, there were 10 e-mails from Mr. Pratap Chandnani inviting me to yaari.com. They were also addressed to my e-mail id khurana.mail@gmail.com. Those are also enclosed.
.
4.     I believe that my e-mail is widely known to the members and I routinely mark copies of my e-mails to the Society ID.

5.     Notably, I deduce from your e-mail that you do not access Society's e-mail. The secretary has gone on record to say that the society office does not have a Telephone connection and hence internet connection. The official e-mail was sent at  9.05 p.m. The Important question is that who has the password to the Society's official e-mail id?

6.     I understand that a copy (BCC) of your e-mail to me has been marked to other members. I believe in complete transparency between the members and have marked a copy (CC) of this e-mail to other members as well. In any event all members must know as to who controls the Society's e-mail.

Regards

Sandeep Khurana

Subject: Apologies

Dear Sandeep,

Belated greetings for Holi to you and your family.

Thanks for your feedback. Let me assure you there is no way you should have been left out from the mailing list. I have personally put your address ( however, the one which the Society office has).

Unfortunately the email address Society office has of yours is as follows: insight_fin@vsnl.net. All official mails have gone there and it seems to me that the Society office doesnot have your updated email address. Likewise there have been at least 20 emails which have not been delivered ( all due to wrong email addresses). My first task is to now ask Vipin to update email addresses / postal addresses. I have also asked him to send these official mails by post to ensure that all members have been updated.

I will mark all the mails sent to members at your above gmail address.

I apologize for this mix up.

Rgds,
AMARJIT SINGH
